I have been offered to do PhD in economies with the University of Barcelona , University of Sydney, and Vitoria University in Wellington.
Which university should I choose? My husband will also be joining me so one main criteria for the choice will be for him to find a full time job as he will be the main supporter while I study. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Russian and his background is in journalism. He will be able to work unlimited hours for the duration of my studies in all 3 countries. This is something I learned which applies only if you are doing a PhD.
Please advice. Tuition in Australia is 30k AUD per year, in Barcelona probably no more that 5,000EUR per year and in NZ 5,000 NZD per year.

Ok.. My friend called me on Christmas day as her partner had proposed and she wanted me to be her bridesmaid (woo hoo!)… this girl means a lot to me so of course I said YES! .. even though I knew it meant i would have to fly to the wedding in Brisbane. Which is about $500-$600 NZD, i was Ok with that.
However it seems as though everytime I call her there is another cost for me to cover! I have to pay for the dress. Fortunately as its a garden wedding the dresses will be quite simple and not really all that formal. I think they are around the $100 – $150 AUD mark. I have to pay for shoes as well and to get my make up done. We are all wearing our hair down so no costs for hair, etc.
And the latest thing I’ve just found out that I have to stay in a hotel while I’m there because she has no room for me to stay at her place!
I’ve tried talking to her but she always replies with “(the other bridesmaid) has to pay for the same”… I should mention that the other bridesmaid lives in Melbourne so will be paying a third what I am for flights.
Am I being unrealistic? I’ve never been a bridesmaid before but to be honest I just assumed that most of the cost would be absorbed into the wedding budget?
How much is fair for me to cover?

for the 2nd car.
