Study In Barcelona, Spain?

Hi,
I have been offered to do PhD in economies with the University of Barcelona , University of Sydney, and Vitoria University in Wellington.
Which university should I choose? My husband will also be joining me so one main criteria for the choice will be for him to find a full time job as he will be the main supporter while I study. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Russian and his background is in journalism. He will be able to work unlimited hours for the duration of my studies in all 3 countries. This is something I learned which applies only if you are doing a PhD.
Please advice. Tuition in Australia is 30k AUD per year, in Barcelona probably no more that 5,000EUR per year and in NZ 5,000 NZD per year.

How Much Would You Expect Your Bridesmaids To Contribute To Your Wedding?

Ok.. My friend called me on Christmas day as her partner had proposed and she wanted me to be her bridesmaid (woo hoo!)… this girl means a lot to me so of course I said YES! .. even though I knew it meant i would have to fly to the wedding in Brisbane. Which is about $500-$600 NZD, i was Ok with that.
However it seems as though everytime I call her there is another cost for me to cover! I have to pay for the dress. Fortunately as its a garden wedding the dresses will be quite simple and not really all that formal. I think they are around the $100 – $150 AUD mark. I have to pay for shoes as well and to get my make up done. We are all wearing our hair down so no costs for hair, etc.
And the latest thing I’ve just found out that I have to stay in a hotel while I’m there because she has no room for me to stay at her place!
I’ve tried talking to her but she always replies with “(the other bridesmaid) has to pay for the same”… I should mention that the other bridesmaid lives in Melbourne so will be paying a third what I am for flights.
Am I being unrealistic? I’ve never been a bridesmaid before but to be honest I just assumed that most of the cost would be absorbed into the wedding budget?
How much is fair for me to cover?

Singapore Bank With Brazil Reais Fix Deposit?

Hey im looking at buying a mitsubishi lancer. Im not a huge car fan so don’t know a lot about them
just want some info on what sort of mileage gets frowned upon with lancers.
looking at a Mitsubishi Lancer MR – Mivec 1996
175,000km’s, 4 cylinder 1600cc
are these kilometers risky and will probably sht out on me?
also Mitsubishi lancer GSR 1998
1800cc, manual, 4WD,
141,000 k’s
anyone with any idea what ideal specs i should be looking for please give advice, these cars are for sale at around
$2600 USD// $4000 AUD// $5000 NZD (different currencies for more answers) for the first car and
$4200 USD // $6500 AUD // $8000 NZD
for the 2nd car.

Fiancial reporters suggested that fluctuating interest rates were responsible for the AUD/GBP fluctuation described above, and that the AUD/NZD change ws due to lower inflation in Australia. Explain how the change in exchange rates could have been caused by those events?

The Yen will appreciate the most. the 2ND largest economy needs to restructure badly and it’s policy of keeping it’s currency weak to make lots of money of of Americans is archaic. It’s government has officially ended it’s intervention into the Currency markets. Additionally china recently surpassed the U.S. as it’s main trading partner so the need to manipulate the currency has diminished. If and when the Japs cash in their $1,000,000,000,000 of foreign currency reserves (mostly U.S. dollars) it will have a big effect. The same is true of China, the Yuan is another good long term play.
