Are There Facts About Apple Inc. That Could Prove That It Is Rising In Computer Sales Even Without The Ipod?

Or is it rising Just because of the ipod? I would like constructive answers and not just “it’s because of the ipod” and junk answers like that because they don’t help. Most likely facts about rise in the company compared to any pc manufacturer (Dell, HP, or, Sony) or Microsoft, BEFORE the ipod came into play. Thanks in advance!

Will media pursue beleaguered financial institutions charitable contribution to controversial organization as they have with executive compensation?
Remember the outrage when it was discovered former Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain – how he spent over a $1 million to redecorate his office, as meticulously itemized by CNBC correspondent Charlie Gasparino for The Daily Beast?
Merrill Lynch was acquired by Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) in September 2008 and Thain was eventually let go, and the backlash for his extravagant redecorating ensued.
But, this latest indiscretion has gone unnoticed by the media – a donation in the amount of $2 million to the ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) Housing Corporation of Chicago, according to a document posted on Bank of America corporate philanthropy Web site – which shows the bank had given the total amount in grant money from October 2007 through June 2009.
The document also details several regional grants to ACORN, which is said to be finalized through 2009, but currently included the following:
ACORN (Miami) – $50,000
ACORN Housing Corp. (Chicago) – $85,000

Giuliani: Ernst & Young, Elliot Management, and Credit Suisse Group
Romney: Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Marriot International
The real choice we have in this election is between electing a puppet of Goldman Sachs and similar companies or a man of the people. Do we want to let these elites continue to run our country into the ground or do we want to return America to what it was intended to be? Should we elect Ron Paul or should we elect one of the bought-and-paid-for candidates who oppose him?

is BANK OF AMERICA
if you are considering opening an account at BANK OF AMERICA, I would reconsider. They do not care about their costomers because they have so many. If you have an account dispute, its their way or the highway. They dont offer to resolve the dispute, they simply tell you that they are right and you are wrong. Unless you hire a lawyer and bring them to court, there is no way of getting what is rightfully yours! They owe me close to $200 but I am not going to hire a lawyer and miss work to go to court over $200, I’d lose much more than thaT in lost wages.
GO WITH A SMALLER BANK THAT CARES ABOUT HAVING YOUR BUSINESS
if enough people DONT use Bank of America, they wont have the upper hand, they will be forced to deal with customer concerns LIKE ALL OTHER BANKS, the way its supposed to be. They have a big advantage because their banks/atms all over, more than any other bank.
DO WHAT IM DOING: keep $50 in your Bank of America account for emergencies only. Transfer the rest of your money to a local bank & do your day-to-day banking there, so THEY get your business, not B.O.A.

Bally Total Fitness Has Filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy?

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Bally Total Fitness Holding Corp (BFTH.PK: Quote, Profile, Research), one of the largest U.S. health club operators, has filed for bankruptcy protection, after struggling in recent years with membership declines and too much debt.
The Chicago-based company and more than 40 affiliates filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors on Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan.
Bally listed $396.8 million of assets and $761.3 million of debts as of December 31, court papers show.
The company said the reorganization process will not affect memberships or operations at its more than 375 health clubs. It also intends to keep paying employees and vendors.
Bally will seek approval of a “prepackaged” reorganization plan supported by holders of much of two bond issues.
It said the plan would reduce debt by $150 million and provide $90 million of capital through a rights offering backed by affiliates of Anschutz Investment Co., Goldman Sachs Group Inc
